YLCGA President Dawn Clegg started the semi finals on a bright and sunny morning with the first match between Northcliffe and Cave Castle.Following them were the players from Halifax Bradley Hall and Rawdon. Conditions for golf were perfect on a very lush course in a perfect temperature. The first semi final saw Cave Castle edging out Leading Qualifiers Northcliffe to go through to the final. Joining them from the second semi final were Rawdon.
The final saw Rawdon, with several pairs of fresh legs, defeat Cave Castle and take the White Rose title for 2026.

It was welcome to Headingley for the four semi-finalists - Wath (Leading Qualifiers), Keighley, The Oaks and KP Club. The course was in excellent condition and the weather set fair so all looked good for some great matches.
Wath and KP kicked off the proceedings and after a tight match, Wath came out on top to take their place in the final. Keighley and The Oaks also had a tight match but The Oaks edged the victory to take up their place in the final against defending champions Wath.
With perfect conditions continuing for the day, the President, Dawn Clegg, started the finals and the morning pattern continued with tight matches until Wath were able to clinch the match on the 18th green to defend their title.
Congratulations to all the competitiors who played the matches in a competitive but excellent spirit.

Players from Hallamshire (Leading Qualifiers), Lees Hall, Wath and Masham gathered on a very windy day at Bradley Hall GC for the B League finals. With gusts over around 40 mph, it was a true test of strength and stamina. Leading the field out at 9am were Hallamshire against Masham, with Hallamshire proving too strong for the Masham team and progressing to the final. Lees Hall took on Wath in a hard fought match with Lees Hall emerging as winners.
The wind continued to blow unabated for the final between Hallamshire and Lees Hall and although there were a few substitutions, most of the players set off for their second 18 holes in the brutal conditions. The final outcome of the match was settled on the 17th green with Hallamshire emerging as victors.
Congratulations to everyone who played in a wonderful spirit in the extremely testing conditions.

The end of the 2026 Inter Club Championships season was marked by the first of the semi finals and finals of the Scratch League at Brough Golf Club. The four qualifying teams of Ganton (Leading Qualifiers), Huddersfield, Pannal and Doncaster set off in bright conditions and with great expectations. After a nail biting finish, with two matches being concluded with extra holes (one to the 20th), Doncaster emerged to take their place in the final against Huddersfield who had beaten Pannal.
Congratulations to Huddersfield who were in fine form in the afternoon and defeated a tired but very proud Doncaster team.
